After the cesarean birth of my daughter, a large part of the area around my scar remained numb. I went to see Steven at Boulder Sports Acupuncture hoping to restore some sensation there.
I was intimidated by the idea of needles in that area, but I was quickly impressed with his natural ability to create a save space for healing, & any fears about the treatments melted away.
He always let me set the pace of our work, was always sensitive to my particular needs of the day and I always left feeling empowered. In only a handful of sessions (and some excellent homework assignments in between) the improvement has been amazing. Little by little, most of the sensation has returned & I know the progress will continue. I would recommend Steven without reservation to anyone looking for a compassionate and skilled acupuncturist.
